Pape Academy FC closed out the first round of the NLO 2025/2026 Bida Centre campaign with a commanding 2-0 victory over Atlantic Integral FC — a third consecutive win that extends the club's unbeaten run to four matches.

From a nervous opening-day defeat to one of the most in-form sides in the centre, the transformation across five matchdays has been remarkable: three wins, a draw, four clean sheets in five games, and a squad growing in belief with every outing.

Pape Academy took control early against Atlantic Integral, and the pressure told before half-time when a penetrating run into the box was rewarded with the opening goal. The second arrived after the interval, a clinical strike on the counter that killed the contest.

Once again the defensive unit was outstanding. Atlantic Integral were restricted to long-range efforts, with the goalkeeper rarely troubled behind a back line that has now conceded just twice all season.

"Three wins in a row and another clean sheet — I could not ask for more from this group," said Head Coach Aliyu Mohammed. "When we lost the first game, nobody panicked. We trusted the process, and now the results are coming. The first round is done, and we will use this break to prepare even harder for what comes next."

The result moves Pape Academy FC to 10 points from five matches, completing a first round that has announced the academy as genuine contenders in the Bida Centre of the Nigeria League One.
